The balance of learning vs doing

I continue to explore the balance between learning and taking action. As I wrote in my newsletter about the Training Balance scale, 90% or more of success comes down to mindset. That would be the learning side of the equation. But for those of us who love to learn, we might get stuck in learning mode instead of doing mode. 

I am exploring this balance as it relates to growing my Vital Health business and becoming a network marketing professional. I have never had any formal training in network marketing, and I have a lot to learn (and unlearn from listening to the wrong people in previous companies). The key is still taking action because faith without deeds is dead.

On the flip side, I jumped all in with AI and have been doing and learning all the way. It's been great fun and a nice change. Then again, AI lets you fail fast and with low stakes. This method wouldn't be ideal for the big pillars.

I bring this up as I debate whether to sign up for a network marketing certification program. I have a call with a coach today and will discuss and make my final decision with her.
