The Big Azure Delivery

I have been using the Azure Standard grocery coop service for several months now, and I'm overall happy with the service. My friend Scott told me that it's a great way to get high-quality food and supplements at more affordable prices. You order online on the website and can receive a bulk monthly delivery at a designated drop spot. This is cheaper than having everything delivered to your door. My drop coordinator is less than ten minutes from my house. The quality is high, and the prices are more reasonable than what you would find at, say, a Sprouts or a Whole Foods. But there is one big negative.
Every month, the delivery day and time change. It could be any day of the week, and I've had a delivery show up on any day Monday through Thursday. The time is also variable. Today, the delivery showed up at 8:45 AM. Usually, the arrival is 2-3 PM, which makes it more convenient for me to pick up after work. We find out the delivery details the weekend before the delivery, but it's still annoying to plan around. I often order frozen or refrigerated items, which means I have to drop everything as soon as the delivery is available.
I told Scott I know he loves the uncertain deliveries, but it puts a cramp in my style. He replied that the reason it doesn't bother him is that life is uncertain. I told him he is definitely more loosey goosey when it comes to a daily schedule, but mine is primarily dictated by blurk. The corporate world doesn't mess around.
One of the ways corporate life and schedule commitments affect the rest of our lives. 🥲
