The busy beginner

Beginners do too much. Pros do only what is needed. The easiest way to spot a beginner is busy-ness.– @Codie_Sanchez

Ouch.

The beginner is the one who:

  • Tries to launch 12 startups in 12 months
  • Try every new framework, new LLM, new shiny, trending tool
  • Spends more time yapping than building
  • Build an audience on a platform where his customers are not hanging out
  • Thinks build it and they will come
  • Postpones marketing to the last minute, if even
  • Read 1000 tech startup books but applied none
  • Tries to be on every platform everywhere
  • Has no idea what truly moves the needle for his product
  • No idea who his ideal customer profile is
  • Has more followers than MRR
  • When asked what his product does, he can’t give a straight answer
  • Doesn’t track critical metrics, don’t know how his business is doing

While the wealthy pros running profitable businesses often do the opposite.

So now we know.

If ya too busy, ya too rookie.
