The Protocol

A few people have asked me what I’ve been doing since I officially tested positive for everyone’s favorite virus. *Note: I’m not a doctor or healthcare professional and this is not medical advice. You should always consult with a trusted healthcare professional before taking any supplements/medication or making changes that affect your health.

Thankfully, one of the most important things I did prior to getting infected is to make sure my vitamin D level was optimum. This was the first thing my doctor mentioned when I told him. It takes months to increase vitamin D levels, so this isn’t something you should wait to focus on. I’ve written multiple times on this topic and most recently in this newsletter.

I’ve been pounding specific supplements:

  • Vitamin D
  • Zinc
  • Selenium
  • Magnesium
  • Vitamin C
  • Bulletproof immunity complex
  • Elderberry

I have been prioritizing sleep as always. If anything, I’m getting more sleep than usual because I’ve had bouts of no energy and might as well just sleep.

This week I also started following Dr. Mercola’s recommendation to use a nebulizer to inhale a saline/hydrogen peroxide solution. Prior to getting a nebulizer, I was using Xlear nasal spray with some added drops of iodine as recommended by Dave Asprey.

I avoid OTC as much as possible. Most of those meds just mask symptoms and usually end up making me feel worse. The nebulizer has definitely helped with my nose issues. I don’t have a fever, so no need for fever-reducing chemicals.

Thankfully, mine appears to be a mild case, but it’s still no picnic.

Glad to hear it’s mild. What’s nebulizer brand/model did you get? And hydrogen peroxide solution from the pharmacy?

I got this one: https://amzn.to/3g4Ra1h. Regular H2O2 at the pharmacy is not good for nebulizing because it may contain contaminants that you don’t want in your nasal cavity. The recommendation is food-grade hydrogen peroxide 12% https://amzn.to/3g8tPMg. and you use a tiny bit in the dilution.

Thanks Brandon! Will probably stock this for a rainy day. Hope you’re all better after spraying these
