This is it

This is it.

After being weighted down so long, I finally saw some light and luck.

All that went before, were not mine to start with. But they are passed on to me, in me, so I accept their existence. I will work on it, work around it, work alongside it.

But I will no longer let it get me.

No more trapped in fear.
No more sense of loss.
No more martyrdom.

I’m moving on.

I know what I have to do now.

I know my strengths. I will just use it, leverage it, amplify it.
I know what I’m weak at. I will avoid it if I can, work with it if I can’t.
I know I can’t control lots of externalities—and people—so I don’t even try.
I know scarcity only breeds more scarcity, so I’m not holding on to the little I have left, and focus on the abundance I can get in the near and far future.
I know I’m not better than who I measure myself against—nor worst—so I won’t compare. Not even try.
