Thriving vs surviving

To thrive you got to first survive, But after surviving, it’s time to thrive.

When all you’ve known for a long time was to make money to survive, it’s hard to flip the mental switch when you’re doing better and past the survival stage. You get stuck in crisis mode way of operating, always rushing ahead with adrenaline.

It helps when in crisis yes, but bad when it’s time to thrive. Because to thrive and get to abundance, you need a different frame of mind, beyond the scarcity, beyond the anxiety. Without letting go of those, you will not get there.

And the most important reminder here: Money can’t buy back lost time.

All the scared hoarding in the world will not help me regain time lost with my kid, wife, and elderly parents.

Provide I must, protect I will, but they will be happier if I am happy and present.
