Too busy equals lazy

Over-busyness is just laziness in disguise.

It’s true.

If you’re too busy, you failed to be discerning of your priorities.
Being too busy is indiscriminate intention, and action.
A too-packed calendar means you said yes too many times.

I feel like that right now.

But it’s all for feeding the family.
Yet, I can’t help but feel like I walked myself into it.

Nobody pointed a gun to my head to take up 3 gigs.
No one forced me to work 12-14h work days.
Zero people made me this busy.

Except myself.

So yes, I’m both captor and victim, of being too busy.

I can either accept it, change it, or leave it.

I can’t leave, because I absolutely need the money.
I accept it, but it gets me nowhere.
I will have to change it, which I’m trying now, but nothing’s moving.

Yet.
