What does rest look like? Version 2025

Just re-read my post from two years ago, about how rest looks like.

But that life… couldn’t feel further to me right now. Like a past life.

That life is no longer accessible to me. At least not in near term. So what’s the 2025 version? Today I found it.

I was really ill. Wife and kid went to my in-laws. My parents were out. So I was alone at home. So just AC on, snacks on hand, blankets on, and watching meditative and slow travel in Japan Youtube videos like Mei Time.

That’s what rest looks like for burned out and overworked parents.
