Why you lose your hobbies

Sometimes, you just lose your hobbies.
Even though you still like doing it now.
Even though it was your life and death back then.
Even though you never intentionally planned to stopped.
And it is not because you lack time.
Not because the meetups stopped.
Not because you got bored of it.
Sometimes, just sometimes, the hobbies just stop because of meaning collapse.
Sometimes, you experience such a big change in your life, and nothing about the hobby makes sense anymore (and most of anything else too). Whatever meaning you got from it in the past, now feels hollow. But you had not yet found new hobbies yet.
So this emptiness, this pregnant emptiness, this winter, just hangs around and leaves you with nothing to do.
Until it passes.
So you just have to wait it out.
Till spring comes.
