Wobbly times

“Be careful not to judge a transition by how you feel in the middle of it. A bridge is always going to be more wobbly than either shore. If you’re in a transition, your job isn’t even to have total clarity. It is just to stay honest, present and open enough to be able to receive the next step.” - @corymuscara

It’s so easy to fall into that trap.

A problem appears. You jump right into problem-solving mode. You want to get to total clarity, NOW. The impatience and drive to solve things is a good thing. But what if it’s not meant to be solved right away, but to be lived wobbled through to fruition?

What if you can lean into the wobble and start to enjoy it for what it is?

Hot take: What if—just what if—all of life is just this wobble, from birth to death, cradle to grave?

There’s no shore to reach. Just wobbly times stacked all the way till death. Any sense of an end is just—irony of ironies—a transition. The wobbly times are, in fact, not the transitions.

They are the real life happening right there.
