People can only meet you where they are at, not where you are at.

If your depth is deep as an ocean but people ask for a cup, don’t make yourself shallow to make them feel smart.

If your ability is high as a mountain but people prefer a sandpile, don’t cut yourself short to make them feel tall.

If your vision see as far and wide as the stars but people only see what’s right before them, don’t gorge out your eyes to make them feel right.

They only see you at their level, not your level.
