1 month back on keto

It’s been just past one month on keto:
- Had a bit of a slump during week 2-3, felt under the weather, ill-ish, but now feeling much better. Energy levels are back. Detox period maybe? As always, when doing something like this, it gets worse before it gets better.
- Sleep disruption is back, but in a good but weird way. I think on ketosis, the ketones in the blood seem to make the brain super active, and sleep more fitful. But during the day I don’t really feel tired or sleep deprived. That’s why weird but good?
- At 79kg now. Just 1kg decrease. In any case, weight is not the key metric. Weight can even be misleading, because it can be all water weight. It’s about overall leanness, and losing all the visceral fat in the belly. But not much going on there yet.
- Slowly cutting down even more calories, eating less for breakfast now - just butter and some strawberry greek yoghurt. Soon, will cut down on dinner too. I like this progressive approach, compared to my first time, it felt more like a shock!
Good signs all round!
