Higher yield in 2026

One goal I have in 2026 that’s worth writing to think about - HIGHER YIELD.

I WANT TO WORK LESS BUT EARN JUST AS MUCH.

I need the extra bandwidth to be able to think, plan, or work on something else to break free from my caged hamster wheel of 12-14h work days. To get beyond “we’re okay” to “we’re comfortable”, or even thriving.

So whatever I’m investing time into, it needs to give back a higher yield than last year. A higher return on my investment.

What do you do when you need to earn more but you don’t have more time?

  • Change to a higher paying gig/job
  • Charge more/Increase your rates
  • Build a profit-generating asset that’s passive
    • SaaS
    • digital product
    • physical asset (usual is property)
  • Invest money to grow money (S&P500 ETFs)
  • Earn on something you’re already doing anyway
  • Sell something you already have (knowledge, things)
  • Save time by being more efficient with current work
  • Delegate work out (VAs?) in order to earn back more
  • Find way to automate repetitive tasks
  • Prioritize only work that moves the revenue needle
  • Eliminate work ruthlessly, simplify tasks that doesn’t

What else?
