I want $10k monthly revenue

It’s a new work year based on the Chinese/lunar calendar, and as per custom, that means “Let’s get rich! Best of luck for the new work year!”

Maybe it’s timely to flip the switch, to take things up a notch too.

I feel I’ve kept myself in the shadows for a while now, for the past few years. Not so much outwardly, but inwardly. Constantly fearing what’s ahead, not wanting much, hoarding what little I had, and expecting the worst most of the time.

I’ve forgotten to ask Life for what I truly want.

I remember when I used to do that blatantly, openly, publicly, honestly and how the universe conspired to help me out.

In my 20s I wanted to work and travel in the UK, and I made my dreams known, spoke about it to family and friends around me. And everyone supported me, through vibes, wishes, support or with money. And when I was going to depart at the airport, so many came to see me off. It was one of the more heart-warming high moments of my life.

In my 30s I wanted to start my own business. I left my cushy government job and started to consult. Many of my peers approached me for work, or referred me. I remember feeling blessed to receive all the support. The business ended up performing pretty well, doing 6 figures in some good years.

The common thread in them all – I asked, I acted.

“Ask, and you shall receive.”

I asked for it, confidently, in no uncertain terms.
I acted on it, committedly, despite the uncertainty.

Now it’s the next decade. I’m almost in the middle of my 40s.

And this is my ask:

I want $10k monthly revenue.

I want a business that supports my family-oriented lifestyle now.
I want the meaning and purpose that comes with the doing work I deeply cherish.
I want a blank calendar that I can piece around for my wife, son, and elderly parents.

I want $10k monthly revenue.

I want that.
I will act on that.

I will get that.
