November 2023 goals

My intentions for October was simple: Survive.

I’m still not in the clear yet with my finances. So SURVIVE is still the pragmatic thing to go for in November. But it needs a reframe, because it induces scarcity mindset. Grasping at straws isn’t gonna help me get out of the situation. It might end up backfiring instead. It already has.

So I think survive really should be reframed as:

Adapt
Resilient
Agile
Flexible

Something that sums up working with the cards I’m dealt, making the best out of it, and just resolutely focused on acting, on moving ahead, even if in baby steps, instead of what’s lacking in the present, what happened in the past.

I’m going to focus on acting on the 20% effort that brought 80% of opportunities so far – networking for consulting, and my building more products. Or even blend both, like bring indie hacking approach to building products for my consulting:

  • Meeting people, having coffee, attending events, sending out intentions in the form of posts and tweets for Outsprint
  • Keep my Github contribution streak alive all the way till end of 2023. Ship everyday. Continue shipping products and services, riding on the momentum after PSI.SG. Now on to Lists Kit.
  • Designing PSI.SG in public on LinkedIn seems to get more traffic and interest. Maybe I could build a product for design folks. I got a few ideas in the drawer.

So… Just adapt, and stay in the game.

That’s it. That’s all to it.
