October 2025 goals

October’s the only distraction-free month left before the end of the year holidays and events. November is like only 2-3 weeks or so with the school holidays starting, and December even lesser of a month with Christmas and New Year. It might be a busy end of year for us too with some travel thrown in.

So that leaves me with October to try to push out something new.

Maybe it’s time anyway.

I’ve been working on my customer support SaaS for the longest time. Even if there’s no hurry, having a cap on effort and time is a good thing. Last 100 days to finish strong, remember?

I need this actually.

I need the revenue boost. Moving countries with a family ain’t cheap. And lots of the big dreams ahead need a financial cushion to feel safe to leap into. So I can’t just stay still with my freelance gigs.

But with all goals there’s always a cost. The cost I don’t want to pay is to burn out yet again, before the year ends. I want to be focused on delivering, but not kill myself doing it. I want to go at it with relaxed concentration.

So there. October it is.
