Reviewing my word for 2025 – Fire

Tl;dr - there was lots of smoke, but no fire.

Harsh to myself, as usual. But not untrue.

I wanted more fire in 2025 - more intention, less excuses, more aggression to win.

I wanted to launch a SaaS, but I didn’t.
I wanted to hit $10k per month product revenue, but I didn’t.
I wanted to work half a day, spend the rest with kid and family, but I didn’t.

BUT…

I did get to finishing 80% on my new SaaS.
I did get to $9k per month gross income, and got us past survival stage.
I did get to spend quality time regularly with my family, in evenings and weekends.

Didn’t cross the finish line, but ran the race.

AND,

I didn’t plan on being committed to marketing every day, but I did, through #marketing365 since April.
I didn’t plan on finding new purpose for the family, but did. We’re planning a big move overseas.
I didn’t plan on travelling much, but did. Melaka, Osaka, Batam, Chiangmai, Sapporo.
I didn’t plan on learning to drive, but did.
I didn’t plan on fixing my abusive relationship with burnout, but I did.

So… losses, fails, mistakes, yes.
But wins, joys, healing too.

And most importantly, I didn’t fold.
