The home you found

Where do you feel most at home in the world?
The home you found, not necessarily the one you were born into… though it can be the same of course. Usually found later in life when you start travelling.
A recent visit to my astrologer to get an astrocartographic reading shed some light:
- Bali: He said I feel most relaxed there. Which makes perfect sense why I chose it for my year-end solo chill retreats back then! That’s why I always said “Bali for restoration, Kyoto for inspiration”.
- Osaka, Kyoto, anywhere in Kansai: He said, a place that’s positive for me, makes me feel confident, inspired. Which I agree – again “Bali for restoration, Kyoto for inspiration”. No where else makes me feel more at home. It has the seasons and the winters there are just right for me. Funny, because Sapporo/Hokkaido is not included based on the reading, and true enough, didn’t feel much for it coming back now from a trip.
- Chiangmai: Average, okay, no excellent but not bad either.
So it’s Kyoto/Osaka then?
The time may not be ripe now, but one day, I will live in Kyoto long term to just experience what it feels like to live in a place where you feel most at home.
One day…
