I'm so back

Up early at 4am today. Feeling motivated, optimistic. Enthusiasm and impatience returning.

Starting to get back into the groove of my daily habits:

  • Restart 4am mornings to work 2-3h deep work every morning.
  • That requires me to sleep early, by 9pm. Sleep enough.
  • Be done for the day by 6pm. Spend time with family.
  • Body weight workouts every morning, for stronger back and shoulders.
  • Back to low carb intuitive eating for better energy levels and less cravings.
  • Write daily, about my progress. Don’t overthink what to write and waste time.
  • Timebox time spent on X. 30-60min per day for building in public. Don’t engage and get distracted by drama. Engage directly on profile pages of honest BIP accounts.

It’s such a relief, because after feeling burned out for the whole of May, I thought I might never come back. But now I’m glad for resting as much as I could.

Now, I’m getting my usual reps in for the day, and most importantly, plotting my next product.

I’m so back.

Welcome back! Glad you’re feeling better! Burn out (and depression… and anxiety) can feel never-ending and all-consuming, but it helps to recognize the patterns and know that there’s a way out. Usually it requires time and a bit of effort, but we eventually get out of these dark corners of life.
