May 2025 wrap-up

At the start of May, I said these will be the signs when I’ve finally recovered from my burnout:
✅ I start to feel restless. Wanting to do something. Anything.
I start to get bored. Rest is nice when you need it. Boring when you don’t.
✅ I start to feel wake up easier. No snoozing, no wake inertia.
✅ I start to need less naps. Or sleep. Or rest.
I start to get ideas coming in that I can’t stop thinking about.
I start to want to be creative, and play in my creativity.
Happy to report, I can see three out of the six signs.
On top of that, I finished early more than once, managed to free up time in my too-packed day, and experienced a brief moment of clarity and thankfulness for it all.
I’ve been nursing these burnout wounds since February. So it definitely took its time. But it might be finally turning a corner. All round good signs. Very happy with progress this month.
